Episode 1 – The Invention of a Special Chair
For more than 3000 years mankind has tried to develop furniture that would withstand the exposure to the elements. Banished to sit inside due to the lack of durable outdoor furniture, in the earlier days in a dark cave, later in history in a 5000sf monster home, people were unhappy.
They were dreaming of furniture that would allow them spending quality time outside. People didn’t like to be trapped indoors, but wanted to enjoy the outdoor, breathe the fresh air scented with flowers. This of course was before we got allergic to all kinds of pollen and grasses…
Anyhow, sometime in the course of history this wonderful piece of outdoor furniture shown in the photo was developed by a highly accredited designer. Using cement blocks as furniture material guaranteed the chair would last for over 100 years. People worshiped him for his brilliant idea, but soon found their bottoms were excessively sore.
