We are at Rick’s Cafe in Negril, Jamaica. The cafe is located on the edge of the ocean. Steep cliffs reach down straight from the patio to the water. Boats with hundreds of tourists land to let them take part in a sunset spectacle that is about to take place.
There are several jumping platforms that invites daring tourists and locals to take a leap. I am guessing the lower platform is about 6m, the higher one 10m above the sea.
For the sunset, one crazy jumper climbs all the way up a tree next to the patio. He’s standing on a branch that is scaringly thin. As soon as the sun sets, he jumps. Easily 20m down into the waves, what a dive!
