My favorite times are dining on the patio right by the dock of our cottage. It’s so peaceful there; all you can hear is the sound of wind and water.

Last time I was on a patio with the family, everyone was there, my sisters and all their kids. My son had been with his girlfriend for 4 years at the time, it got quiet, he proposed to her right there, I was in tears, I was so happy for him. They have currently been married for almost 1 year. So happy he found her.

Being outside on a patio brings out the most relaxing side of myself. Growing up, the patio was the place where you had the best chats with family and friends, the best bbq dinners, and the best nights. I would love to experience those summer nights once again with new Velago patio furniture.
We try to have most of our dinners outside during the warmer months. Everything tastes better when eaten outside.

I will be honest – it’s been 3 years since I’ve been on my own patio enjoying our set with family. We lost our home in a forest fire and still have not returned home (living in a rental) so only have memories at the moment. Just before the fire, we had a wonderful family dinner in the back yard laughing and enjoy a bbq meal. We hope to get back into our home this spring and this would be absolutely awesome win!

We were on a outdoor patio over looking the ocean at a hotel the night before my daughters wedding. They had very beautiful sets.
The last time we were all hanging out on the patio at our dining set, a hummingbird who seemed to have somewhat of an agenda, came zooming in at high speed and frightened everyone so badly that two of us jumped up and knocked the table completely over, breaking two of the legs. Beer and wine spilled everywhere! An absolute disaster. Luckily there was a really good stock of liquor in the house! Hummingbirds can turn a day of fun into a horrifying nightmare in the blink of an eye! Beware of the ones with bad attitudes. Don’ t let their cuteness fool you.

The last time we were using our dining set was when we were having people over for a memorial dinner. As guests came to sit down, the strappings on one chair snapped the they practically fell through on to the deck floor. Then almost one by one, the same thing happened to two other people and we thought we would have to eat on the floor. The other guests were hesitant to sit down for fear that the same thing would happen to them.
The last time we had a patio table my brother in law took the foid off the bbq and put it in a glass platter. He then put the platter on the table and the table shattered in a million pieces. It was so loud.

The last time I was on a patio with a dining set was Sunday July 21st. We were having a bbq and a spider landed on my mom’s shoulder. She freaked out stood up too fast and caught the edge of the table with her body. The table tipped sending all the food everywhere lol. The spider was fine and that’s what really matters.
